Erectile dysfunction drugs can be used for the treatment of brain tumors. It was proved by the scientists from the Institute of Impotence Research in Geneva. In this research when the erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs were given to the cancer patients having the tumors in the brain. The condition of the some of the patients was found to be improved. Even the better results after the continuous chemotherapy were obtained, the condition of the 25% of the patients with cancer was found to be better than before.
ED drugs like Sildenafil (Viagra), Tadalafil (Cialis), and Vardenafil (Levitra) were used during the study to cure brain tumors.As we all known there is no permanent relief from the brain tumors caused by cancers, so even the ED drugs were not able to give the permanent relief. ED drugs can only be used as the supporting treatment with any other main treatment.
